Fees
and Insurance
Our
fees reflect the specialized training, treatment and diagnostic
studies used by our practice in the treatment and evaluation
of your child.
Our
fees are competitive with fees charged by other pediatricians
in our area.
Our
physicians participate in several of the insurance plans
in the community, however, you, not your insurance company
are responsible for payment of the account.
We
file many kinds of commercial insurance. However, we do
not file all insurance plans. If your child has insurance,
we will need to have all pertinent information and a copy
of the card for our records. If any of this information
changes, it is the responsibility of the insured to let
us know for each child.
Method
of Payment
We accept cash,
personal checks, VISA, Discover, American Express or Mastercard. Any account having
a returned check will be assessed a service charge of $15.00 and placed on a certified
funds basis.
Payment
should be made at the time of visit for any unmet deductible,
copayment or noncovered items. Under special situations
payment plans may be arranged.
Health
Check
The
Health Check Program is Georgia Medicaid's well-child or
preventive health care program for children.
It
consists of periodic screening of children for early detection
and treatment of conditions before health problems become
chronic or irreversible.
Please
schedule a Health Check appointment when you receive notification
from Medicaid or the physician has informed you the next
screening is due.
