Appointments
Appointments
Patients
are seen by appointment unless an emergency arises. If you
have an emergency, call and let us know prior to bringing
your child in, since it may be necessary for you to go to
the emergency room instead of the office.
If
you are not able to be on time for your appointment, please
contact the office to inform us of your delay. It may be
necessary to reschedule your child's appointment.
If
you walk in with your child and it is not an emergency,
you will have to wait until we have an opening for that
day or first available on another day. We will not automatically
see and examine siblings of the patient with an appointment,
even if they are sick. Please be courteous to us and the
other patients by calling to schedule an appointment.
If
a patient who arrived after you did is called back, please
understand his/her appointment is with a different physician.
Your
First Visit
Your
first visit will normally require more time than an established
patient, due to obtaining patient, financial and other required
information.
We
request new patients to arrive 15-30 minutes before scheduled
appointment to allow time for completing new patient information.
After
Hours/Emergency Care
If
your child is in a life or death situation - call 911 or
go to the emergency room.
If
your child has ingested plants, drugs, poisons, etc., call
poison control center immediately and follow their directions
exactly.

Should
an emergency situation arise during office hours, bring
the child to our office or phone us immediately. After regular
hours or on weekends we can be reached through the office
answering service. A triage nurse will return your call
promptly.
